The project is to study the materiality of composite wood materials. I developed and designed four different conceptual models based on the materiality of composite wood materials. In addition, design four conceptual models and transform them into four architectural structures through a parametric design approach. The design process spans computational modeling in Rhino3D. And all the way to digital fabrication using machines such as laser cutters, 3D printers, CNCs, and more. The goal of this project is to enable faster iterations in the design process from digital to physical.
